Everything you need to plan a well-timed walk.
Beach Walk covers 49 Queensland beaches across 7 regions with tide data, weather, sunrise/sunset, weekly planning, favourites, alerts, and nearby places.
Use Home to open a region, then tap a beach card. You can also use Search to find beaches by name or tide station.
Switch tabs inside beach detail to move between daily conditions and weekly summaries. The 7-day view includes tide highs and lows, sunrise/sunset, and moon data.
Recommendations are filtered to safer daylight windows around low tide. If conditions are unsuitable, recommendations may be limited or unavailable.
In the 7-day view, open the Sun & Sky info sheet for beach-specific daylight stories and regional daylight context.
In beach detail, toggle alerts on individual tide events. Set your preferred lead time in Settings > App Preferences > Notification Times.
A star marks your default launch beach. An orange bell means a low-tide alert is active, a blue bell means a high-tide alert is active, and a heart means the beach is saved as a favourite.
Go to Settings > App Preferences to set a Default Beach and toggle Imperial Units.
Nearby Places appears in beach detail (Today/Tomorrow) and looks for food and cafe options within 1.5 km. Tap a row to expand the map and open directions.
Tap the info icon in a region header, or open Settings > Help & Support > Region Info Sheets.
Check iOS Settings > Beach Walk > Notifications, then verify your in-app alert timing and enabled tide-event toggles.
Internet is required for live tide, weather, and place data. Your favourites and settings stay stored on your device.
